Slades Corners Auto & Tire has been a trusted name in the community since its founding by Wally Kaddatz in the early 1980's.  Originally known as Slades Corners Auto Supply, the business began in a garage next to the church in Slades Corners, where Wally focused on selling tires and batteries not just to local drivers but also to area repair shops in need of reliable products.

As demand for his products and services grew, Wally moved the business from the garage to its current location, allowing for more space and the ability to serve a larger customer base.  In addition to selling tires and batteries, Wally also provided exhaust pipe bending services for both customers and repair shops, further expanding the business's reputation as a trusted resource for automotive needs.

In 1993, Bob Vanderwerff purchased the business from Wally, continuing its legacy and further expanding its services.  Under Bob's ownership, the shop continued to evolve, keeping up with industry advancements while maintaining the strong reputation it had built over the years.

Today, Slades Corners Auto & Tire carries on its tradition of providing high-quality products and services.  The business proudly offers Hercules Tires as its house brand, backed by a Road Hazard Warranty for added peace of mind.  In addition to top-quality tires, the shop provides FVP Platinum Batteries from Factory Motor Parts and a selection of auto parts, including Metron Starter & Alternators from Sluiter.
